RSA 2025 Recap: Celebrating Community, Innovation, and the Future of Skating

RSA 2025 Recap: The Future of Skating | ROLLER

The ROLLER team had an absolute blast at the 2025 RSA Convention & Trade Show in Las Vegas! From the nonstop energy on the show floor to the vibrant conversations with rink operators and vendors, this year’s convention reminded us why the skating industry is one of the most passionate and close-knit communities out there.

A high energy show floor

There was never a dull moment at the ROLLER booth. Our team came ready to connect, and it showed.

Account Executive Jenna Neal was a powerhouse, running back-to-back demos for operators eager to learn how ROLLER can streamline operations and elevate the guest experience. Meanwhile, Customer Success Manager Zach Pollman was out meeting new faces, helping with booth setup, and keeping the team running smoothly behind the scenes.

Booth highlight: Meet Peta from Skateworld

One of the biggest highlights for us was having Peta from Skateworld join us in the booth. As a long-time ROLLER customer and rink operator herself, Peta shared her real-world experience using the platform, from managing busy birthday weekends to making life easier for her staff.

Operators loved hearing directly from someone in their shoes, and Peta's willingness to answer questions and share tips was incredibly generous. We talk a lot about “Smooth Operators,” and Peta truly embodies that spirit. It was such a privilege to have her representing ROLLER and her rink so authentically.

Key themes: digital growth and operational efficiency

Beyond the booth, we had dozens of great conversations with rink owners about the future of the industry. A few clear themes emerged:

  • Digital bookings are here to stay: Operators are leaning into online ticketing and scheduling as a way to reduce admin, drive bookings, and meet guest expectations.
  • Memberships are gaining momentum: From loyal skaters to casual visitors, membership programs are proving to be a smart way to build community and recurring revenue.
  • Efficiency is top of mind: Rink operators are finding new ways to manage costs and streamline processes, without compromising the guest experience.

We also had the chance to connect with fellow vendors like Patch and Amusement Connect, and those conversations are always valuable. Building relationships across the industry helps us collaborate and serve rink operators more effectively.

ROLLER’s ongoing commitment to the skating industry

We were proud to be a sponsor at this year’s event and honored to be represented on the RSM Committee. Supporting rink operators is at the heart of what we do at ROLLER, and being part of this event helps us stay in tune with what matters most to the community. And of course, doing all of this in a city as electric as Las Vegas made it even more memorable.

Until next time

To everyone we met on the show floor, chatted with in passing, or demoed the platform for—thank you. RSA 2025 left us feeling energized and inspired, and more committed than ever to helping roller skating rinks thrive.

Let’s keep rolling forward, together.
