Amusement Expo 2026 Recap: Building Momentum Through Community and Connection

The ROLLER team at Amusement Expo 2026

Amusement Expo 2026 brought together operators, partners, and innovators from across the attractions industry for a few days of connection, conversation, and shared ideas.

For the ROLLER team, it was a great opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new operators, and hear firsthand what’s top of mind for venues heading into 2026.

It was also especially meaningful for our team to be involved in the planning committee this year. Being part of shaping an event that’s so rooted in the industry, and supported by associations that genuinely care about its future, made the experience even more rewarding.

Insightful conversations

A highlight of the week was the quality of conversations happening across the show floor. What stood out most was how often those conversations were driven by shared experiences. Operators were openly talking about what’s working, what’s not, and how they’re approaching the year ahead.

In one standout moment, a current customer stepped in to share their experience with a prospective operator, offering real-world insight that no demo or pitch could replicate. That kind of peer-to-peer conversation is what makes this industry so unique.

Partnerships in action

Amusement Expo continues to highlight what makes this industry special: collaboration.

This year, partner engagement drove real impact, creating warm, high-intent introductions and more meaningful conversations. We also connected with leaders across the ecosystem, reinforcing how critical strong partnerships are to delivering better outcomes for operators.

These interactions underscored a key industry reality: no single solution operates in isolation anymore.

Operators are looking for connected, integrated systems, and partnerships are essential to making that possible.

What operators are prioritizing in 2026

Across dozens of conversations, a two clear themes emerged:

Efficiency and labor optimization are top of mind

From self-service kiosks to streamlined check-in, operators are looking to do more with less without compromising the guest experience.

Cost transparency matters more than ever

Operators are taking a closer look at total cost of ownership, especially when it comes to payments. Clear, predictable pricing is becoming a key differentiator.

Moments that brought the community together

Beyond the booth, several moments helped build energy and connection throughout the week.

  • The Gala set the tone for the week and drove strong energy into day one
  • Beers & Cheers brought the industry together to celebrate award winners and close out day one with cool drinks, even cooler people
  • Educational sessions and the keynote added valuable perspective and ideas

We were also proud to help bring the inaugural Rise & Shine Breakfast: Celebrating Women in the Industry to life. It was an amazing space for connection, recognition, and shared experiences among an inspiring group of leaders.

These moments are a reminder that events like Amusement Expo aren’t just about products or platforms, they’re about people.

Until next time

Amusement Expo 2026 reinforced how strong conversations, strong partnerships, and a strong sense of community are what move this incredible industry forward.

As operators continue to prioritize efficiency, transparency, and connected systems, it’s clear that the future of attractions technology will be built on collaboration.

We’re excited to keep those conversations going throughout the year. See you next time!
